Programming Change Announcement!

EXCITING NEWS!! Starting August 7th we will be affiliated with Mayhem Athlete Affiliate Programming.


As coaches our number one priority is to provide a workout experience that gives time to teach our members how to improve and grow in a structured and safe way. By switching to Mayhem programming we will be able to offer different “levels” to the Metcon each day.

  • Compete: This track is for those looking for an extra push. If you are someone who likes to compete locally this track is for you. It is considered RX+.
  • Freedom: This track is considered RX. If you generally do the workouts as they are written on the board, this track is for you
  • Independence: This track is a scaled version of the RX Freedom version. It is designed for those that are still learning and may not have all the CrossFit skills mastered
  • Liberty: This track is modified to be the least technical. It is designed for those that are brand new to CrossFit or may have limitations.

In addition to our every day CrossFit workouts you will have access to several different tracks including:

  • Body Building
  • Olympic Lifting
  • At Home Workouts
  • Endurance
  • Running
  • Spin
  • L.I.F.E - geared towards senior citizens
  • Teens
  • Monthly Challenge

Here is a look into the training cycle “Here Comes The Boom” for the next 8 weeks

Strength: This cycle is designed to help gain strength and consistency in the Olympic Lifts with added power lifts mixed in. We will work on the Snatch (squat), Clean (squat), and Push Jerk. Strength will be held to just 3 days per week, with two lifts performed on 2 of the days and a single power lift on the 3rd.

Workouts: Skill and Volume will start to build while athletes will want to try new movements and events completed in the CrossFit Games. We will add certain events from the competition throughout the next couple of weeks (Affiliate style) for all to enjoy!

Monthly Challenges: Each month there will be a new challenge that we can all participate in together! 

  • The month of August is an Ab Challenge!
  • Monday-Friday there will be a new challenge in Wodify
  • All those who complete ALL the workouts will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 credit towards anything in our retail area.

The Challenge: Complete ALL 23 Ab Challenge Workouts in August. A different workout will be given every weekday in August (Saturdays and Sundays are off). This is a challenge that ANY fitness level can participate in. We will give modification options for each workout.

Challenge Dates: Every weekday (Monday through Friday) in August.

Scoring: Score each Ab Challenge workout completed. You cannot make up for past days, so get it done on the day it’s listed.

On August 31st, there will be a separate score where you note if you successfully completed the challenge every weekday throughout the challenge.

Athlete of the Month - Autumn Sutherland!

Today’s member spotlight goes out to  Autumn Sutherland! Autumn has been a member for 4 years now! Autumn had gained 20 pounds working a desk job and was tired of feeling weak and sick. With a sports background she has loved CrossFit. She says, “I wanted to try CrossFit because it had dynamic movements but still had an individual aspect to it so I could get my own pace as I learned.”  

Since joining CrossFit Autumns confidence has dramatically increased. She beleives she can conquer hard things when they come her way. She has confidence in her own skin, loving herself and her human body for the amazing things it’s capable of doing. She believes that she’s stronger and more capable and she is more confident to try new things and meet new people which can allow her to be more vulnerable. 

Outside the gym, she’s noticed a difference in her health. She says,”I used to get sick 6-8 times a year. Mild colds and annoying things. Now I can go a whole year and not get sick. "Through CrossFit I’ve gotten stronger, but it’s forced me to prioritize sleep and nutrition as well.”

She has also been able to get rid of her back pain. She was in a serious car accident a while back and has had severe back pain ever since. CrossFit has helped her strengthen her back and core muscles to avoid injuries.

We asked Autumn what type of advice she would give someone who is looking into starting their fitness journey. This is what she said. “When I started I couldn’t run 200m. I had to walk and would shake after mild rowing. That told me how unhealthy I was. Your body was meant to move and be dynamic. 

USE IT, take care of it, love it and it will thank you. You can modify workouts to be appropriate to your level and still get results and still have fun. My whole outlook on life has changed in all areas and it all started with CrossFit. 

Autumn we love having you in our classes! Your smile and drive make our mornings so bright! Keep it up, you’re killing it!!
